Ava N. Simmons aka AVA The S.T.E.M. Princess® Aka Ava The S.T.E.M. Ambassador™ is a native of Durham, NC and is a 11-year-old S.T.E.M. Ambassador, Entrepreneur, Toy Designer, Author, and the creator of Team Genius Squad. She is the author of 3 S.T.E.M. Book Series. Ava used S.T.E.M. and entrepreneurial activities to help overcome her dyslexic reading challenges and improve her critical thinking and math skills. To share her learning journey and encourage others, Ava authors S.T.E.M. books, designs S.T.E.M. toys, and conducts peer-to-peer S.T.E.M. experiments in the community.

To date, her S.T.E.M. experiment videos have been viewed globally by 700,000+, and she has conducted 3000+ S.T.E.M. experiments in the community.
